Hockaday vs Greenhill

Hockaday Varsity field hockey won its first counter game against Greenhill 2-1.  Hockaday was able to get on the board first 21 minutes into the game with a goal from Gigi Spicer, assisted by Shea Duffy and Evan Johnston.  Spicer was on the back post ready to sweep the ball in when it came across the goal.  Greenhill tied the game less than 3 minutes into the 2nd half and play was back and forth for both teams.  Hockaday earned a corner with 3 minutes remaining and was able to convert when Izzy Shadle connected with Meg Wilson.  The team worked hard to keep possession the last three minutes and was able to earn their first counter win of the season.
