Hockaday vs TVS

The Varsity Field Hockey team fell to Trinity Valley 1-2 in its first overtime game of the season.  It was a hard fought game that had Hockaday ahead 1-0 at halftime off a goal from Gigi Spicer assisted by JoJo Gum.  Trinity Valley scored early in the second half and the teams played evenly through regulation.  Minje Kwun had two great shots on goal, with one of them hitting the post, but Hockaday could not connect.  In overtime Graydon Paul had a huge defensive save when the ball got behind goalkeeper Emma Schnitzius.  Paul came across the goal and batted the ball out from the goal line.  Trinity Valley ended up scoring with 1:12 left in overtime to end the game.  Emma Schnitzius had 11 saves in goal for Hockaday.
