Hockaday vs Oakridge

The Hockaday Varsity field hockey team won an intense double overtime game on Senior Night against the Oakridge Owls 1-0. Even though Hockaday had 19 shots on goal and 9 penalty corners we were unable to connect for a goal in regulation or during the first overtime period. The game went to strokes with Hockaday scoring 4 out of 5. JoJo Gum, Maddy Charest, Ely O’Brien, and Mary Gum scored for Hockaday. Emma Schnitzius had 9 saves in the goal for Hockaday and saved 2 strokes in overtime! Thank you to our six seniors (Charlotte Benedict, Reid Cohen, JoJo Gum, Natalie Jones, Penelope Piccagli, and Izzy Shadle) who have contributed so much over their time in the field hockey program!
