Hockaday vs Catholic (NC)
Fifteen minutes after coming up just short against Cardinal Gibbons, the Daisies (#5 in South) faced a fresh Catholic (#8 in South). Hockaday went down 7-0 in the first half, instead of folding the Daisies ignored their heavy legs to grind out a close 7-6 result. Again, a running clock stopped a late game rally. Head coach Molly Ford spoke of her team‘s “tenacity“ after the game. HVL plays SPC rival ESD after spring break.
