Hockaday vs FWCD

Hockaday Varsity field hockey defeated FWCDS 4-1 in it’s second game of the week.  Hockaday got on the board four minutes into the game on a goal by Claire Tate assisted by Meg Wilson.  Hockaday went on to score two more goals in the first half both off of corners.  Emilia Callahan converted on a give and go corner with Graydon Paul followed by Meg Wilson adding a goal of her own with an assist from Libby Warren.  Not only did Claire Tate start off the scoring, but she ended it in the second half with a beautiful goal that started on the defensive end with an assist from Emilia Callahan and Meg Wilson.  Emma Schnitzius had 2 saves in goal while Bella Heintges added 1 save.  The team is back in action next week on Tuesday when they travel to Trinity Valley.
