Mi Escuelita Ornament

For over 20 years, Lower School has supported Mi Escuelita Preschools through our December service-learning project.  Our December Daisy Drive will offer the opportunity for interested families to purchase an ornament in support of Mi Escuelita, a group of preschools dedicated to teaching the English language, literacy, math, science, basic computer skills, and social skills to non-English-speaking children of all cultures. The money collected from the sale goes to Mi Escuelita’s scholarship fund.
If you search each year for the perfect holiday remembrance for friends and family members, consider giving a Mi Escuelita ornament.  This year’s hand-painted globes are created from the fingerprints of Mi Escuelita students.  The ornaments come in a presentation box and are available for a contribution of $15 each.
If you are interested in receiving one or more ornaments, please complete the form that was sent home in book bags this week or click here  to print a copy.  Order forms should be returned to the LS Office no later than December 17. The ornament(s) will be sent home in your daughter’s book bag.
