Hockaday Varsity Field Hockey saw seven different scorers as they defeated All Saints 7-0. Minje Kwun started off the scoring assisted by Avery Moore. Addison London started off the second quarter scoring assisted by Taylor Hua. Hua then assisted the next goal by Kate Gillikin and Sunnie Wang finished the 2nd quarter scoring with a goal off a corner. Annabel Callahan scored for first goal of the season with an assist from Libby Warren. The team added two goals in the last quarter, the first by Riley London with her first goal of the season and the second by senior Riley Carter who scored her first goal of her career with a reverse shot assisted by Kate Gillikin.
The Hockaday Varsity field hockey team defeated the Eagles 3-0 in their first meeting of the season. Minje Kwun started off the scoring connecting on a goal at the back post. Libby Warren added another in the first quarter with a beautiful reverse shot. Kwun added another goal in the second quarter wrapping up the scoring. The defensive unit held the Eagles to just three defensive corners for the game.
Hockaday Varsity field hockey earned its first counter win of the season. Avery Moore found the back of the goal with an assist from Landry Grover in the second quarter. Hockaday was able to hold onto the win through the next two quarters in what was a midfield battle. The defensive unit was able to hold off seven FWCDS penalty corners, working together to clear the circle.
Libby Warren kept her goal scoring streak going with two goals in Hockaday's win over Lonestar Field Hockey Club. The first goal was a reverse sweep in the first quarter assisted by Taylor Hua. Josie Sinwell added a goal in the second quarter assisted by Mae Flanagan. Warren finished off the scoring in the third quarter. Rachel Manley had three saves in the goal for Hockaday.
After leading for most of the game, Hockaday Varsity field hockey was defeated by St. Stephen's 1-2. Libby Warren scored Hockaday's lone goal in the first quarter. The team earned nine penalty corners, but were unable to convert any for goals. Goalkeeper Rachel Manley had five saves.
