Hockaday vs Parish

Winning its first game of the 2021 season, the Hockaday Varsity field hockey team defeated Parish 5-0.  The team got on the board twice in the first quarter.  The first goal was scored by Addison London and assisted by Anna Gum.  Sydney Ghorayeb scored next with an assist from Landry Grover.  Two more goals by KK Swango and Taylor Hua came in the second quarter.  Addison London connected again in the fourth quarter on a cross from Landry Grover to finish out the scoring.  Hockaday had 18 shots on goal and earned 9 penalty corners.  The defensive unit led by Riley Carter and Jules Johnson held Parish to just two corners and zero shots on goal.  Next up is a trip to Houston to face off against three South Zone schools.
