Sixth Graders Work With

Sixth graders collaborated with St. Mark's School and the Texas Conservation Alliance in a cleanup event and a challenge to design solutions for cleaning and protecting plants and wildlife along the creek, aligning with their social impact theme of water.
The students cleaned up White Rock Creek Trail, gathering data through a scavenger hunt to develop team-based solutions. They presented their ideas to the Texas Conservation Alliance directors. The students collected 800 pounds of trash. Additionally, they interacted with turtles and received educational insights from Texas Wildlife on the Move.
